Greenhouse

Insufficient disinfection in relation to greenhouses and their crop is responsible for both qualitative and quantitative losses in the horticulture market. Pathogenic microorganisms are easily spread from plant to plant via contaminated tools and equipment or from crop to crop if the greenhouse is initially infected. To avoid spreading of bacteria and viruses due to infected tools and equipment, growers rely on DISIFIN because of its wide activity spectrum for greenhouses disinfection. Important is also that – when properly applied it is well tolerated in direct contact with e.g. cut flowers* Tomato growers will appreciate the proven efficacy of DISIFIN use a 1% DISIFIN solution with a contact time of 30 min against the Pepino Mosaic virus. Between productions cycles, when the buildings are empty, thoroughly clean and then disinfect with a DISIFIN solution, which is either brushed, sprayed or nebulized. For spraying, use 0.3 L/m2 of a DISIFIN solution at 1%.

Cut Flowers Disinfection

*DISIFIN can also be added into the water of cut flowers to reduce the bacterial growth in the water.

Bird Dropping Disinfection

Bird Faeces is very acidic, this can lead to corrosion on surfaces, especially on painted finishes, like car roofs and bonnets, bird dropping are very hard to remove once dried, DISIFIN helps to soften the dropping for easy removal while disinfecting the area. Bird faeces can compromise your immune system causing diseases, including Cryptococcsis, Histoplasmosis and Psittacosis.

DISIFIN tech does not cause corrosion of any kind to piping material and can be used at a temperature range from 4°C - 70°C, in so far as the material itself will allow this.
